On March 3, the breeding farm “Krasnoozernoye” launched new production facilities in the Priozersky district of the Leningrad region.
A new cattle yard for young animals up to 3 months old for 354 heads and a maternity ward for 254 heads were put into operation. The new climate-controlled rooms, automatic feeding, watering and manure removal will include a maternity ward and a room for newborn calves.
Investments in the project amounted to 140 million rubles.
At the end of 2022, Krasnoozernoye increased milk production by 8%. The implementation of the investment project will allow the farm to increase the milking herd by 200 heads and achieve milk yields of over 12,000 kg per forage cow per year.
