The second stage of the Michurinsky greenhouse complex was launched in the Tambov region

In the Tambov region, on March 3, the second stage of the region’s largest farm for growing tomatoes, sweet peppers, eggplants, cucumbers LLC “Greenhouse complex Michurinsky” was opened. Kommersant-Chernozemye was informed about this in the press service of the regional government. The volume of investments in the second stage amounted to 8.5 billion rubles. It included 30 hectares of greenhouses in addition to 32 hectares of the first stage. “Due to the commissioning of new capacities, it is planned to double production, from 18.8 thousand tons in 2022 to 36.3 thousand tons in 2023,” the report says. The objects of the first stage were put into operation in 2021.
