A new livestock farm Chasovnoye for 650 heads was opened in the Totemsky district of the Vologda region

The livestock facility is owned by Niva LLC. The project was launched in 2017 and included two stages of construction. On the first one, a cowshed for 324 heads and a 2*12 Europarallel milking parlor were built. As part of the second stage, a cowshed for 326 heads was built. 12 jobs created. The total cost of the project exceeded 200 million rubles. Prior to the start of the investment project, the number of dairy herds in Niva LLC was 540 heads. The project provides for its increase to 750 heads. Now the farm contains 685 cows, another 65 will be delivered to the yard before the end of the year. The herd is completed at the expense of its own reproduction of the herd and the purchase of breeding heifers in LLC Pokrovskoye Breeding Plant. The commissioning of facilities will allow the enterprise to increase milk production per day to 19.8 tons by the end of 2023 (2.6 times by the start of the project in 2017).
