The entire team of schoolchildren from Russia – four children from St. Petersburg – received medals of the highest standard in the individual standings of the XIV International Mathematical Olympiad. It has been held annually in Bucharest (Romania) since 2008. Young mathematicians from all over the world take part in the Olympiad.
Our guys passed competitive tests remotely – in the Sirius Educational Center. Gold went to Roman Kuznetsov, Alisa Volkova and Eldar Khisamutdinov from the Presidential Physics and Mathematics Lyceum No. 239 of St. Petersburg, as well as Pavel Prozorov from St. Petersburg Lyceum No. 533.
