In the Leninsky district of Chelyabinsk, on March 10, the Chelyabinsk plant of urban electric transport was solemnly opened. The investor was Sinara. The holding operates in the city as part of a concession to upgrade the trolleybus fleet. The first cars that roll off the assembly line will immediately go to the streets of the city.
This year the plant will produce 168 trolleybuses. 20 pieces are almost ready to leave the assembly line. After running in, they will serve the 12th and 19th routes. When the enterprise reaches its design capacity, it will produce up to 350 trolleybuses a year.
