Pensioners living in the Worcester housing estate (Chelmsford Court, England) have complained that they have been tormented by an unknown prankster knocking on the door for 15 years. They claim that about four times a week their sleep is disturbed by a mysterious knock. This is reported by the Daily Star.

Retirees in a gated community have been plagued by a mysterious door knocker for 15 years and say their lives are now living hell.
And although the troubles have been going on for a decade and a half, the perpetrator has not yet been caught.
Retired postman Bryn Roberts, 75, said he was targeted shortly after moving into the complex in 2008.
“We don’t know who it is, but it must be someone who is active in the winter,” he said.
“For the past few weeks, I’ve had trouble falling asleep due to a hernia that didn’t get any better because some jerk knocked on my windows. It’s a little discouraging because it happens around 3:15 am and you don’t get up at that time in the morning to check fast enough.”
Residents say they tried to catch the troublemaker on their own, but were unsuccessful as they strike every night at different times.
Now they want to put an end to the torment and hope to install security cameras in the complex to find out once and for all who is behind the unrest.
Another resident, who did not want to be named, said: “We think it must be the same person because they knock on the same windows, doors and walls every time.”
“I tried to stay awake to catch them in the act, but whoever it is comes at different times and different nights, so it’s very hard to predict.”
Council member Patricia Agar, who represents the area, said about four residents were victims of the hammer.
“This is a longstanding problem,” she said. “The residents don’t know who it is and they’re scared and scared.”
“Residents go to Chelmsford Court because it is a protected and safe place. It’s a sheltered home that’s constantly being invaded.”
West Mercian Police said they would investigate the incident and hope to put an end to the long-running saga.
A police spokesman said: “Once we have spoken with the rest of the team and established the facts, we will be able to provide further comments.”
