Thanks to the national project “Safe High-Quality Roads”, sections of regional highways and city streets leading to medical institutions will continue to be repaired this year. Their total length will be 2.5 thousand km.
“People’s lives often depend on the speed of assistance, so our task is to ensure fast and safe access to medical facilities. Since 2019, 1.9 thousand such road facilities of regional and local importance have already been repaired under the national project “Safe Quality Roads”. About 600 more sections will be updated this road season, which is thousands of kilometers of city highways and country roads,” said Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
It is important that during the repair, not only the roadway is transformed at the facilities, but complex work is being carried out to improve the roads.
“Improving the quality of life of the population is one of the priorities of the road national project. Therefore, we pay special attention to roads to socially significant objects. First of all, we update routes to hospitals, clinics, maternity hospitals and FAPs. It is necessary that each patient has the opportunity to reach them as quickly and safely as possible. This year we will repair more than 2.5 thousand km of such roads,” said Igor Kostyuchenko, Deputy Head of the Federal Road Agency.
Yes, this season Udmurt Republic 17 sections of roads leading to medical facilities will be upgraded. Their total length will be more than 8.2 km.
Work will be deployed in 10 districts of the region: in Vavozhsky, Uvinsky, Seltinsky, Igrinsky, Yakshur-Bodyinsky, Sharkansky, Votkinsky, Sarapulsky, Mozhginsky and Zavyalovsky.
For example, in the village of Vavozh, the coverage will be updated on a section of Komsomolskaya Street. This is one of the routes to the local clinic.
“Now, due to the poor condition of the road, accidents occur here, sometimes ambulances cannot pass. Of course, we are very much looking forward to the start of the repair work.” — said the chief physician of the Vavozhskaya regional hospital Valery Savelyev.
IN Samara region this year, 24 sections of roads leading to medical institutions will be repaired. Their total length is more than 175 km.
So, almost 5 km of the route “Samara – Buguruslan” – Kinel-Cherkassy and three artificial structures located on it will be updated.
“The transformation of the central road of the village of Kinel-Cherkassy, which has already begun this year with the repair of the bridge, is not just a long-awaited event, but also a strategically important event. The bridge across the Bolshoy Kinel River is the only structure connecting the two parts of the village. The nearest detours are 50-70 km away. Considering that the Central District Hospital is located on the right bank of the river, serving about 45,000 residents and being one of 12 inter-municipal medical centers created in the Samara Region, we understand the importance of unhindered and comfortable travel along the only road to the hospital,” said the head of Kinel-Cherkassky district Valery Frolov.
In Tolyatti, Marshal Zhukov Street will be brought to the standard. The work will be carried out on the section from Sportivnaya to Frunze. Its length is 2 km. There are several medical centers here.
IN Arkhangelsk region thanks to the national project, 39 km of roads leading to medical institutions will be updated this year. Works are planned in Velsky, Konoshsky, Primorsky districts, Kargopolsky and Kholmogorsky districts, as well as in Arkhangelsk and Severodvinsk.
In particular, a comprehensive renovation of Gagarin Street will take place in the capital of the region. Next to it is the regional clinical hospital. The work will unfold on an almost two-kilometer section from the Kuznechevsky bridge to Timme.
“We provide planned, urgent, emergency specialized and consultative and diagnostic medical care to residents of Arkhangelsk and the entire region. Of course, we are all looking forward to when the road will be repaired. Transport accessibility is very important for all of us: for both patients and staff,” said Valentin Nemanov, Deputy Chief Physician for Economic Affairs of the Arkhangelsk Regional Clinical Hospital.
This year in Tyumen a section of Proletarskaya Street will be brought to the standard. Its length — almost 1 km. The road is located in the Kalinin administrative district. It is along this road that residents of the Dom Oborony microdistrict get to the city polyclinic No. 3. The path to the multidisciplinary clinical center “Medical City” also runs through the same section of the street.
Similar work will be carried out on Shcherbakov Street on the segment from Labor Veterans to Velizhansky Trakt. Its length is almost 2 km. This is a route to one of the buildings of polyclinic No. 8, which is located in the Central District.
