March 10, 2023, El Alto, Bolivia — A radiopharmaceutical production facility, unique in Latin America, built by Rosatom for the Bolivian Atomic Energy Agency (ABEN), has begun supplying radiopharmaceuticals to Bolivian clinics. The solemn event, timed to coincide with the start of deliveries of the radiopharmaceutical fluorodeoxyglucose to Bolivian clinics, took place at the Center for Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy, designed to treat patients with oncological diseases.
