The Republic of Crimea entered the top twenty in Russia and is the second in the Southern Federal District (SFD) in terms of average daily milk yield, Minister of Agriculture of the region Andrei Savchuk reports on March 9 in his Telegram channel.
“The average daily milk yield in the region at the beginning of March amounted to 24.6 kilograms per head, which is 20% or 4.2 kilograms more compared to the same period last year,” the report says.
The minister said that the Crimea in the Southern Federal District is second only to the Krasnodar Territory with indicators of 28 kilograms per head.
