A spy dove was caught off the coast of the Indian state of Odisha in the Bay of Bengal. This was reported by the state police.
The bird was caught by the crew of a fishing trawler. According to law enforcement officers, a text in an unknown language was written on the wings of a dove. A camera and a microchip were attached to the animal’s leg, presumably. The police believe that the pigeon could be used for espionage.
