After that, according to the publication, he fled, and the police began to look for him. The culprit of the accident was found in one of the yards. The security forces twisted the man and, not without surprise, recognized him as the mayor Yevgeny Kirgizov.
Local media reported about the accident involving the mayor, citing their sources. According to Chita.ru, on March 10, one of the residents of Sretensk turned to the police, who said that someone had crashed into his car and fled. And the collision was head-on.
Later, the culprit of the accident was found in one of the yards. He got out of the car, took an ax out of the trunk and thought that the security forces would get scared. But the law enforcement officers neutralized and simply twisted the brawler. Only later did they discover that the head of the Kirghiz city turned out to be a formidable “woodcutter”.
According to Vechorka, everything was even more interesting. The journalists said that on that day Kirgizov was completely drunk. He rode around the city in his Toyota, occasionally jumping out of the car and brandishing a gun. Then the mayor started a skirmish with the passengers of a passing car and he started chasing the voters.
“I got into an accident on a beautiful bridge across the Shilka, ramming a local resident’s car. But even this seemed to him not enough. When the police arrived, the mayor took an ax out of the trunk and began to threaten the law enforcement officers, ”the publication said.
By the way, the mayor’s pistol is most likely a service pistol. Previously, he himself worked in the police and was remembered by people for the fact that in 2012, in the form of a police captain, he stood on a bridge and began firing a pistol at passing cars. For this, he received a suspended sentence. True, then the hardship brought Kirgizov to the post of mayor, where he did not change his habits.
