According to the Federal Center for Export Development of Russia “Agroexport”, in January-February 2023, the export of sunflower oil in the Tambov region increased by 3 times compared to the same period last year.
Wheat and corn are also actively exported from the region.
Buyers – the countries of Asia, the Middle East and the Caucasus.
“Last year, the region increased the export of wheat bran six times, and the export of flour doubled. Our enterprises successfully build partnerships with importers. This leads to an increase in exports, which has a positive effect on the economy of the region,” said the head of the Tambov region Maxim Egorov.
