In one of the districts of Blagoveshchensk on the morning of March 12, an accident occurred – a pipe burst, as a result, 37 residential buildings in the area of Teatralnaya – Amurskaya and Amur College of Construction were left without heating. They were turned off by the public utilities themselves, because they need to determine the places of the breakthrough. Now the specialists of the Amur Utility Systems are already eliminating the accident, and the prosecutor’s office is monitoring the situation.
The city prosecutor’s office ensures that the accident is eliminated in a timely manner and the causes are correctly identified. If there are grounds, the department will take the necessary response measures, its representatives said.
Now in Blagoveshchensk -8 degrees. It remains to be hoped that the inhabitants of the city will not freeze for very long and the public utilities will sort out this situation.
On the morning of February 5, 31,000 people from 293 houses in three districts of the city were left without heat in Smolensk. According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Smolensk region, the reason for the shutdown was a water leak on Sobolev Street and a flow from the ground at the intersection of Dokuchaev and Communist Streets.
