In the Belgorod region will create the production of enzyme preparations for animal husbandry

By 2027, the Efko group of companies plans to launch a biotechnological cluster in the Belgorod region for the production of enzyme preparations for the livestock industry with a capacity of 2 thousand tons of products per year. The implementation of the project will allow increasing the share of own feed enzymes for animals in the Russian Federation by more than four times, up to 61%, Oksana Dobrovolskaya, Deputy Director for Work with Scientific Organizations at Efko Group, said. “This is a full-cycle project: from the creation of microorganisms that are super-producers of feed enzymes to the production of enzyme preparations,” she emphasized during the forum “Biotechnologies in Agriculture: National Priorities and Cooperation in the EAEU Space”.
