Oscar-nominated film premiere
Charlotte Wells’ touching drama was one of the highlights of 2022 with a Cannes premiere, a French Touch Critics’ Week Jury Prize, four BAFTA nominations including Best British Film and an Oscar nomination for actor Paul Mescal in the category “Best Actor”.
In the center of the plot is the girl Sofia. She recalls how 20 years ago she spent her holidays by the sea with her dad. A warm and touching story of growing up, the difficult relationship of a rebellious teenager with his father after the divorce of his parents, first love and endless happiness.
