Specialists of the Saratov Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “VolzhNIIGiM” have developed a resource-saving technology for growing potatoes under sprinkler irrigation, which can significantly increase the yield of tubers and achieve a high-quality crop. It involves the careful implementation of innovative agricultural practices: the introduction of micronutrient fertilizers in various phases of the crop vegetation, decapitation (removal of flower stalks, which contributes to tuberization) at the beginning of flowering, irrigation rationing. The Dutch technology is taken as the basis for planting potatoes, with an emphasis on soil aeration. Before ridge formation, macrofertilizers (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) are introduced into the soil, after them – microfertilizer “Molybdenum” (5 l / ha), which enhances protein synthesis and increases the stress resistance of the plant during germination.
