On March 12, a new ski and biathlon center “Mirny” was opened in Kazan. Nominally, it is located within the boundaries of Kazan, but in fact it is in the urban settlement of the same name on the outskirts of the capital of Tatarstan. The complex meets all international standards. The infrastructure allows hosting major international competitions.
The ski and biathlon complex was designed and implemented not only for professional athletes, but also for lovers of an active and healthy lifestyle.
In honor of the opening of the new complex, a sports festival “Olympic Hopes” was organized. The event brought together 150 young athletes from Tatarstan and famous Russian skiers.
