Today [2023/03/13] the Luch-5X spacecraft was launched into a given orbit.
The satellite was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome at 02:13:00 Moscow time by a Proton-M carrier rocket with a Breeze-M upper stage. Launch vehicles worked normally.
The launch vehicle and upper stage were manufactured by the State Space Research and Production Center named after M.V. Khrunichev, the spacecraft “Luch-5X” – by the company “Information satellite systems named after Academician M.F. Reshetnev” (part of the State Corporation “Roscosmos”).
The Luch-5X satellite is designed to test advanced relay and communication technologies.
This is the fourth launch of Russian space rockets in 2023. For “Proton-M” this flight was the 115th, for “Breeze-M” – the 107th in history.
