In the Dobrograd special economic zone, Robotech’s client, HES, is building a plant for the production of heat pumps and industrial air conditioners. The company’s products are intended for Russia, CIS countries and the Middle East.
In order to automate the most labor-intensive process of soldering freon circuits, the manufacturer plans to introduce several robotic stations based on 6-axis industrial robots manufactured by Robotech.
Dmitry, co-founder of HES: The main problem in the assembly of freon circuits is the need for a large number of soldering works. In this case, there is a high probability of human error. In order to avoid dangerous situations and improve the process, HES decided to use index soldering with a six-axis Robotech robot. The added benefit of reducing the time to work is from 4 hours for a human to 10 minutes for a robot. Significant time savings lead to financial savings.
