Potato varieties bred as part of the FSTP were presented at the Potato-2023 exhibition in Chuvashia

On March 2–3, Cheboksary, the capital of the Chuvash Republic, hosted the XV Interregional Industry Exhibition “Potato-2023” — this is the only exhibition dedicated to potato growing held in Russia. This year, it was attended by representatives of the Directorate of the Federal Scientific and Technical Program for the Development of Agriculture for 2017–2030 (FSTP), whose functions are performed by the Center for Agroanalytics. They told the farmers who visited the exhibition about the features of the FSTP and the activities of agricultural producers within its framework, about the directions of the program and the results achieved, as well as about how to become a participant in the program and what it gives the producer. The FSTP is designed for agricultural producers who invest in science, develop new programs and technologies for the production of products, and form breeding and seed centers.
