The State Expertise in the field of construction of the Stavropol Territory reviewed the design documentation and the results of engineering surveys for the first stage of reconstruction and improvement of Theater Square and Internatsionalnaya Street in the city of Essentuki. The regional expert organization uses the Unified Digital Expertise Platform.
The name of Theater Square in the historical center of the resort city of Essentuki is associated with the Fyodor Chaliapin Concert Hall located here. The square is located at the main entrance to the Kurortny Park and serves as a venue for the main city holidays and events. Works on the improvement of the Theater Square and the Internatsionalnaya Street adjacent to it are planned by the city authorities as part of the “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” program.
In accordance with the project, which was approved by the regional expertise of the Stavropol Territory, the first stage involves the reconstruction of Theater Square. In particular, it is planned to create new architectural forms and public spaces, including a stage, a colonnade, fountains, an observation deck, as well as the construction of an underground parking lot. Modern lighting, sound equipment, and landscaping will also be installed on the square.*
