The first stage of construction of the greenhouse complex “Kavkaz” is being completed in the Stavropol Territory

In the Sovetsky district of the Stavropol Territory, the first stage of the greenhouse complex for the production of fruits and vegetables of protected ground LLC SHP “Kavkaz” is put into operation. The construction of greenhouse capacities on an area of ​​41 hectares will make it possible to supply the population of the region with domestically produced vegetables all year round. On the territory of the first stage of the complex, various types of tomatoes will be planted: plum, cherry, cocktail and others. Every year, the first phase of LLC SHP “Kavkaz” plans to grow up to 15 thousand tons of vegetable products in protected ground. Vegetable growing is one of the strengths of the agro-industrial complex of the Stavropol Territory. In 2022 alone, the share of greenhouse vegetable production amounted to 43% of the total vegetable production in the region.
