Russian viticulturists will gather for the first time at the branch All-Russian Field Day on June 29 in the Temryuk region at the site of the Golubitskoye Estate enterprise.
The event is organized by the Wine Stories Bureau with the support of the Federal Self-Regulatory Organization of Viticulture and Winemakers of Russia Association, the Ministry of Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Krasnodar Territory, the Regional Association of Grape and Alcohol Producers Kubanvinogradalko, the Association of Vine Growers and Winemakers of Crimea “Crimean Bureau of Grapes and Guilt”.
Temryuk district was chosen for the event not by chance. The municipality has the largest area of vineyards in the Krasnodar Territory (70%), and is also located in close proximity to the second key wine-growing zone in Russia – the Republic of Crimea.
As part of the Field Day, its participants will have the opportunity to see viticulture equipment in operation, get acquainted with samples of plant protection products and fertilizers, seedlings, trellises and other components for planting vineyards, as well as leasing services. Also, in the tasting rooms of the Golubitskoye Estate enterprise, industry seminars will be held, including on the instruments of state support for projects in the viticulture sector, both new and falling under modernization programs.
Recall that in 2022, the implementation of the federal project “Stimulating the development of viticulture and winemaking” developed by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation began in Russia. Its main goal is to increase the area of vineyards in fruiting age by 35% by 2030. For this, it is planned to allocate from 2.4 to 3.3 billion rubles of state support annually, and the total amount of federal budget funds will be 25.4 billion rubles. In 2022, the area of Russian vineyards for the first time in recent history reached 100,000 hectares. Including in the Krasnodar Territory, the total area of vineyards, taking into account the uprooting of old plantations, increased from 28.9 to 29.6 thousand hectares.
