Japan national volleyball player Naonobu Fujii has died of cancer at the age of 31. This was announced by the Japan Volleyball Association (JVA).
In February 2022, Fujii reported vision problems. The athlete was diagnosed with stage IV stomach cancer with brain metastases.
Fujii died on March 10.
