– I would not say that the price is now always a key factor, but the ratio of price and quality is a more important parameter. The key selection parameters are the location of housing, the infrastructure that is present in the condominium itself and in the area. People now prefer to pay a little more, but get a good condominium with high-quality infrastructure with several swimming pools, gyms and indoor parking, – said Alexei Kotlov, CEO of CMP Group.
According to the specialist, the beginning of 2023 has become very active in the real estate market in Thailand.
– Demand from Russia and the countries of the post-Soviet space has grown both in the secondary and primary markets by 3-4 times. Also, after the opening of China, the number of Chinese investors and buyers has increased by 5-7 times, now the market is on the rise, because Thailand is an island of stability in our turbulent times, many people invest money here to save and further increase by renting or resale of real estate, – the expert concluded.
Recall that we previously reported that at the beginning of 2023, Russian demand for rental housing in Thailand increased by 26%.
