The project for the construction of a vegetable storehouse with attracted investments in the amount of 500 million rubles is being implemented by the Bunyatino Agrofirm near Moscow, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Moscow Region reports.
Now the active phase of construction is underway: the walls have been erected, the necessary communications have been carried out, and the internal arrangement has begun.
“The storage provides for both container and floor storage. Half a billion investments have been attracted to implement the project. It is planned that the work will be completed in the 3rd quarter of this year,” said Georgy Filimonov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region, who is in charge of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
The holding annually produces over 50,000 tons of potatoes and about 40,000 tons of open ground vegetables. To store such volumes, an expansion of space is required.
“The enterprise already has 6 vegetable stores for 23,000 tons. Another modern building is currently under construction. After the implementation of this project, the company plans to build two more storage facilities with a total capacity of 20,000 tons of storage in the Dmitrovsky urban district in 2024,” G. Filimonov added.
According to the results of 2022, the production volumes of vegetables and potatoes of the Bunyatino agricultural company amounted to: more than 53 thousand tons of potatoes and more than 37 thousand tons of open ground vegetables.
