Production of sausages in January in the Kostroma region increased by 15.2%

According to Rosstat, in January 2023 meat processing enterprises of the Kostroma region produced 1 thousand tons of sausages, which is 15.2% more than in the same period last year (0.9 thousand tons). In 2022, the production of sausages in the region amounted to 13.1 thousand tons, an increase of 19% over two years. According to the results of last year, in terms of the production of sausages, the Kostroma Region entered the top 10 regions of the Central Federal District, taking 8th place. The leaders in the production of these products were the Vladimir region (340.5 thousand tons), Moscow (278.7 thousand tons) and the Moscow region (264.1 thousand tons) – together they produced 79.5% of sausages in the district.
