The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia proposes to legislate the concept of “farm products”, said Ksenia Shevelkina, director of the department for the development of rural areas of the ministry, during a discussion in the Federation Council of additional mechanisms for marketing farm products for their availability to the population. “We worked with the participants of pilot projects (on the sale of farm products – ed.) on the possibility of developing a legislative framework on this issue.
