The opening ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Government of Dagestan Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan Nariman Abdulmutalibov, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan Mukhtarbiy Adzhekov and other persons.
About 100 companies from different regions of Russia are represented at the forum, offering various types of modern services and technologies in the field of horticulture, plant growing, vegetable growing, as well as modern agricultural equipment.
In particular, the government delegation got acquainted with a new line of Belarusian tractors and agricultural drones, which can be used to sow seeds, spray dry fertilizers and fight pests.
At the forum site, farmsteads of a number of Dagestan regions were also organized with decoration, musical accompaniment and agricultural products of local farmers.
During the solemn part, Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov greeted the participants of DagAgroCaspiy and noted that reputable companies from all over Russia and foreign countries participate in the forum.
“We hope that the forum will serve as a new impetus for the further dynamic development of crop production and the entire agro-industrial complex of Dagestan. It will enable farmers to get first-hand advice on agricultural technologies, conclude contracts for the supply of seeds, fertilizers, plant protection products, machinery and equipment,” the prime minister of the republic said.
As part of the opening, an awards ceremony was also held for distinguished workers of agricultural enterprises in the region. Certificates of honor of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan for the achieved labor successes and conscientious work were received by the foreman of the vegetable-growing brigade of the Agrofirm Druzhba SEC Abdula Dzhanaev, the senior agronomist of Agroprime LLC Shamil Zalimkhanov, the general director of Dagfrut LLC Artem Ramazanov, the machine operator of the Risk SEC Ruslan Dalgatov and the general Director of Teplichnoye JSC Arsen Jamalutdinov.
“DagAgroKaspiy” is organized by the association “Greenhouses of Dagestan” and the exhibition center “RostExpoTent” and is supported by the Government of Dagestan and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan. The forum will last two days, during which conferences, master classes, business meetings and seminars will be held on nutrition control and new technologies for plant grafting, automation of production processes, work in nurseries and the promotion of modern technologies for greenhouse vegetable growing.
