The couple will now officially be known as Sir Brian May and Lady May

King Charles III of Great Britain knighted the co-founder and guitarist of the rock band Queen Brian May. It is reported by CBS News.
The musician received the title of Knight Bachelor. The title means that Mei is not part of the organized orders of chivalry in the United Kingdom. As a rule, such a title is awarded to civilians – in particular, people from the field of art.
The ceremony was also attended by the musician’s wife, actress Anita Dobson. The couple will now officially be known as Sir Brian May and Lady May.
