The Department of the Krasnodar Territory State Expertise of Spatial Planning Projects, Construction Projects and Engineering Surveys issued a positive conclusion after reviewing the project documentation and the results of engineering surveys for the reconstruction of the section of the Western Entrance to Krasnodar highway. The regional expert organization uses the Unified Digital Expertise Platform.
The western entrance to Krasnodar, also referred to as the “Western bypass”, is part of the automobile ring around the city under construction. At the beginning of 2023, the Western entrance was transferred to the ownership of the city administration. As Vice Governor Andrey Proshunin explained, this decision was made “in order to simplify the process of designing and further work for Krasnodar, since the local authorities have big plans – the construction of a tram line and the expansion of the road itself.” All elevated pedestrian crossings on this highway were also transferred to municipal ownership.
According to the project documentation, which received a positive conclusion from the regional expertise, the reconstruction of the Western entrance to Krasnodar will take place on the section km 16+658 – km 17+218.*
The developer is the Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities of the Krasnodar Territory. The design organization is DorProekt LLC.
