Domestic products are highly valued and form a great demand among residents of foreign countries. The Stavropol Territory exports dairy products, meat, grain, oil and fat products and much more than the agricultural region is rich in.
Thus, over the past period of this year, the export of sunflower oil to Azerbaijan has increased several times. The growth of this indicator is determined by the high quality of products produced in the region, as well as the increased demand for this category of products in international markets, which contributes to increasing the production potential in this direction: from increasing the sown area, increasing the yield of oilseeds, to introducing new processing technologies.
The main exporter of the region in this direction is Nevinnomyssk Oil Extraction Plant LLC. The production capacity of the enterprise allows the production of up to 400 tons of refined deodorized oil per day, which, thanks to a modern bottling line, is packaged in bottles with a capacity of 0.8, 0.9 and 1 liter. The company produces bottled sunflower oil under the brands Blagoyar, Kubanskoye Zoloto, Oil of Stavropol and URUSSA. Export of Stavropol oil is carried out in 12 countries of the world.
In recent years, the demand for sunflower oil in many countries of the world has been steadily growing, so one of the strategic importance is given to the development of this sub-sector of agriculture, as well as the processing industry.
As part of the implementation of the priority direction determined by Governor Vladimir Vladimirov, the regional agro-industrial complex is faced with the task of increasing the volume of exports of agricultural products and supporting local exporters.
“The Stavropol Territory makes a worthy contribution to strengthening the export potential of Russia. We are introducing new crops, which means that our agro-industrial complex is becoming competitive and sustainable,” said Minister of Agriculture Sergei Izmalkov.
