The Rostec United Engine Corporation is expanding the test base for the PD-8 engine units, which will be equipped with the SuperJet-New aircraft. At the Perm enterprise “UEC-STAR”, which develops and manufactures automatic engine control systems, seven test benches have been put into operation, five more will begin work in the near future.
New stands for the SAU-8 automatic control system for PD-8 allow testing hydromechanical and electronic units both individually and in combination, simulating their operation as part of the engine.
