The best feed of the Vologda region is produced at the Avrora Breeding Collective Farm in the Gryazovets District

The results of the annual regional competition “The Best Foods of the Vologda Region” have been summed up. The event was organized by the Vologda Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the North-Western Research Institute of Dairy and Grassland Management, the Department of Agriculture and Food Resources, the Vologda Information and Consulting Center for the Agro-Industrial Complex. 50 agricultural organizations from 17 districts and districts of the region took part in the competition. The winners were identified in eight nominations, and the absolute winner was determined by the decision of the jury of the competition. Breeding plant – collective farm “Aurora” of the Gryazovets district took first place in three nominations at once: “Best silage from annual and perennial legumes”, “Best silage from corn” and “Best haylage”, for this enterprise was awarded the prize of the absolute winner of the competition.
