March 18 marks the 50th anniversary of the honorary road builder of Russia Evgeny Nikolaevich Simchuk.
Evgeny Nikolaevich was born in 1973 in Moscow. After graduating from the Moscow State Automobile and Road Institute in 1995, for 14 years he held various positions at the Moscow State Automobile and Road Institute related to scientific and teaching activities.
In 2009, he was appointed General Director of one of the leading research institutes in the road industry – the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization Research Institute of the Transport and Construction Complex (ANO NII TSK).
For more than 28 years of work experience, Evgeniy Nikolayevich was the leader and responsible executor of more than 100 research projects carried out on the instructions of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the Federal Highway Agency. He is the author of more than 150 publications and the developer of more than 100 interstate, national, preliminary national standards of the Russian Federation.
Since 1999, he headed the secretariat of the technical committee for standardization “Road facilities”, and is currently the deputy chairman of the technical committee “Road facilities” and the deputy chairman of the Interstate technical committee “Road facilities” (MTK 418).
Evgeny Nikolayevich devoted his entire career to the road sector. He was awarded a diploma of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, letters of thanks from the head of the Federal Road Agency and the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, thanks from the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, and the badge “Honorary Road Worker of Russia”.
