Most microbes die at high altitude

Scientists have found that on Everest, after climbers, microbes remain that can survive in extreme conditions. It is reported by Science Alert.
The researchers studied the soil from a height of about 2.4 thousand meters above sea level. Scientists have found that staphylococci and streptococci are able to survive in such conditions for a long time. Such organisms could be there because of the wind or people.
