The President invited large companies to publish non-financial statements annually
President Vladimir Putin spoke at the congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP). The main of his statements is in the material of Snob.
The Russian economy, as Putin noted, is beginning to develop according to a new model. The country managed to compensate for the closure of Western markets, and a significant increase in GDP is expected in the second quarter of 2023. Inflation in Russia in March may be less than 4% per annum.
Also during the speech, Putin said that there are great opportunities for business in Russia. In his opinion, the effectiveness of the management of commercial and state enterprises must be brought to a qualitatively new level.
“Now there are even more opportunities, prospects for business development and expansion. Russian business should not miss them. And then, not even the hour, some departed companies will want to return, ”Putin said.

The President assured that the authorities would support responsible business. According to him, the owners of such companies “do not hide assets offshore” and direct part of the profits to the creation and development of social institutions.
Putin called for the creation of an award for the most responsible Russian companies. He also suggested that large enterprises annually publish non-financial reports, which will tell about their social projects.
