The tragedy happened in the Leningrad region, where in the village of Ushchevitsy, Volosovsky district, a 10-year-old boy with two friends made his way to the granary of the Leninsky Put plant. The guys wanted to play, but in the end it all ended badly. A third-grader punched a bag of grain, and because of this, another huge bag lying on top of him fell on the boy.
Frightened children immediately called adults for help, and they called an ambulance. However, the doctors who arrived could not do anything – the third-grader died on the way to the hospital.
Investigators have already opened a criminal case due to the death of a child by negligence. So far, all the necessary checks and examinations are being carried out, but it is already known that the boy was from a complete, prosperous family, which has never come to the attention of the relevant authorities.
