Several accidents occurred on the M-4 Don highway and many kilometers of traffic jams formed
Almost 35 thousand residents of the Rostov region were left without electricity due to strong winds and sleet. This was announced by the governor of the region Vasily Golubev.
According to Golubev, there is no electricity in eight districts and three cities of the region. Now the consequences of the snowfall are eliminated by 1244 people and 640 pieces of equipment.

Due to bad weather on the M-4 Don highway, several accidents occurred and many kilometers of traffic jams formed. As the governor noted, 36 units of equipment are involved in their liquidation. Additional forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were sent to the scene of the incident, and it was decided to create heating points for people on the highway. For snow removal, traffic along the M-4 Don in the section from 907 to 983 kilometers will be temporarily closed.
On the night of March 30, sleet and rain covered the Rostov region. According to 161.ru, this is the latest snowfall in the region since 1955. According to the forecast, it will snow until the morning of March 31.
