Avito analysts conducted a study on how users use the new functionality of the platform – the ability to create collections of goods and services in various categories. In a month and a half, 1.3 million selections were created by 800,000 users.
You can create collections and save your favorite products by subject both on the website and in the mobile application. Collections can be shared in social networks and instant messengers, they can be viewed without registering on Avito.
What is most often added to the collection:
- the top is headed by clothing and accessories. 56% of all collections created include at least one piece of clothing;
- apartments are in second place in terms of popularity – in 37% of the collections there are advertisements for their rent or sale;
- Cars close the top three — they are found in 25% of the total number of selections.
In addition, users save ideas for interiors (25%), make selections of private houses (22%) and repair services (21%).
Over the past month, the number of saved ads for renting real estate in Sochi and other tourist services, such as booking transfers and excursions, has increased, which is explained by the imminent start of the holiday season.
“Avito has been and remains the largest shopping platform with social interaction between people. One of the foundations of interaction is the ability to share what you like with friends. Now there are collections on Avito: you can create wishlists, save ads for inspiration, collect a personal list of recommendations from trusted craftsmen and goods and share it with anyone,” commented Vitaly Tumanov, product director for private users at Avito.
To create a collection, just add an ad to Favorites. After that, a form will open for adding an ad to an existing or new collection.
