The sowing campaign is being completed in the Kaliningrad region: 93% of the area has been sown

According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, by May 22, 77.0 thousand hectares were sown with spring crops in the Kaliningrad region, which is 93% of the planned area. Sowing of cereals and legumes in the region was carried out on 39.2 thousand hectares (103% of the plan), the leaders of sowing these crops are Gusevsky urban district (4.9 thousand hectares), Pravdinsky (4.6 thousand hectares) and Nesterovsky ( 3.7 thousand ha) municipal districts. In particular, spring wheat is located on 15.0 thousand hectares (110%), corn for grain – on 11.1 thousand hectares (116%), barley – on 7.1 thousand hectares (149%), legumes – by 2.8 thousand hectares (60%), oats – by 2.1 thousand hectares (54%), buckwheat – by 1.0 thousand hectares (69%). Sowing of industrial crops in the Kaliningrad region as of the reporting date was carried out on 23.2 thousand hectares – this is 101% of the planned area.
